Why the heat?

Heat relaxes the muscle and induces sleepiness. Hot yoga will help improve blood sugar levels, increased flexibility, and improve muscle strength and tone. Other benefits of hot yoga include:

Look no further than The Power Movement. The health benefits of regular hot movement are hard to ignore.

It can help prevent excess weight gain or help maintain weight loss. When you engage in physical activity such as power yoga, pilates and/or barre helps you burn calories. The more intense the activity, the more calories you burn. You don't need to set aside large chunks of time for exercise to reap weight-loss benefits.

At Move Body Wellness, we offer only 60 minute classes because we feel that is enough time to warm up, workout and cool down.

Regular physical activity can improve your muscle strength and boost your endurance. Exercise and physical activity deliver oxygen and nutrients to your tissues and help your cardiovascular system work more efficiently. And when your heart and lungs work more efficiently, you have more energy to go about your daily chores.

Struggling to fall or to stay asleep?

Regular physical activity can help you fall asleep faster and deepen your sleep. Just don't exercise too close to bedtime, or you may be too energized to fall asleep. The mindful movement class is a great one to wind right down!

Exercise is fun at Move Body Wellness. It is a celebration of our amazing bodies not punishment for what we ate yesterday. At Move Body Wellness, we focus on what we can do not on what we can't. We work hard whilst doing it all with a smile. I never said it will be easy. but it will be worthwhile. Give yourself a chance to unwind, let go and grow.
